In this article, I am going to talk about a small hack that helped me improve my mental state.
Think about this.
When your needs > The responsibilities you take = You are sad
When your needs=The responsibilities you take = You are always in a struggle
When your needs<The responsibilities you take= You are happy and feel powerful
It feels good to take responsibility even when you did not have to.
But taking too much responsibility could be a burden as well. So approach it this way, do not think you are taking the responsibility for others sake. Because then you will have expectations of a return. And when it is not reciprocated you will feel sad.
Do it for your sake.
Stay in the present moment and take a call. But if an opportunity presents itself of you taking responsibility and gaining something, don’t let it go. Don’t let it go. Take it.
Do things for your karma. And if you are in a position to do things selflessly and not expect a return, take that responsibility.
We take responsibility for the things that we believe belong to us. Also, the things that we take responsibility for, become a part of us.
Start by taking responsibility of your life, emotions, thoughts. Don’t stoop on others or expect them to do things for you. Get your hands dirty.
The practice of meditation will help us achieve these goals.
